Anthony Joshua agreed to fight with Kubrat in June

A day after Fury and Wilder activated their rematch, Anthony Joshua agreed to fight with Kubrat Pulev.

Before closing the defense of the IBF with Kubrat Pulev, Anthony Joshua intended to wait for Tyson Fury, who had just won the WBC World Championship after defeating Deontay Wilder. The British boxer even accepted the loss of the IBF belt to soon fight with Fury.

However, because Wilder activated the rematch clause, Joshua had no choice but to Pulev. On Twitter, the 30-year-old boxer wrote briefly: “June 20”, to announce the upcoming match day.

In October 2017, Joshua and Pulev agreed to fight. At the time, the British boxer had just won the three WBA Super, WBO and IBF championships from Wladimir Klitschko. However, Pulev suffered a shoulder injury during training. The challenge of IBF title was given to Carlos Takam. Nearly three years later, Pulev had the opportunity to challenge Joshua again.

“I’m glad I have the opportunity to show the world my true strength,” Pulev said after Joshua agreed to fight.

Pulev’s boss, who is also Tyson Fury‘s boss, rejoiced: “I called Eddie Hearn (Joshua’s boss) not to think about what Fury is tired of. Please focus on Pulev first, and avoid don’t let knockout in the middle of the game (referring to Joshua’s defeat to Andy Ruiz last year) “.

According to Boxingscene, Joshua’s selection of Pulev as an upcoming opponent is also due to the WBO boxer (one of the three major belts owned by Joshua) – Oleksandr Usyk – from Matchroom. In 2020, if Joshua does not hold a WBO match, he will be stripped. This title will become a reward to Usyk for winning.

Joshua is now eager to become the absolute champion. If he won against Pulev, he would definitely recommend the ring to the winner in the rematch between Fury and Wilder.

The match between Joshua and Pulev will take place at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, Wales.

Man Utd and Arsenal expect the ticket to the next round of Europa League (Part 1)

The positive results in the first leg helped Man Utd, Arsenal easily win tickets to the 1/8 round of the Europa League in the series of rounds of the round of 1/16 today 27/2.

The recruitment of Bruno Fernandes provided a quick, powerful and effective push, exceeding the expectations of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. In the four matches since the Portuguese midfielder appeared, the “Reds” were unbeaten. More importantly, the results and performances on the pitch of Man Utd increasingly go up. They opened February with a draw of Wolves 0-0, and just crushed Watford 3-0 in the last match.

Solskjaer, for more than a year at Old Trafford, always openly or hinted at the pursuit of offensive philosophy. For Fernandes, the Norwegian teacher has a playmaker in the middle. Not just passing the ball quickly and accurately, the former Sporting Lisbon player also knows how to dribble, escape pressing, good long shot and be an expert in fixed situations.

In the first leg of the round of 1/16 Europa League a week ago, Fernandes only appeared more than 10 minutes. Tonight, Man Utd fans expect him to shine, as he did last weekend.

Man Utd has many grounds to believe in a victory. Old Trafford is unbeaten in 17 of the last 18 matches in the Europa League. They are also in a series of six unbeaten matches in every arena. With the exception of Paul Pogba, the player who was absent for most of the 2019-2020 season, Solskjaer was full of mighty generals. The 47-year-old military commander must want to win, as a late birthday present (February 26).

Compared to Man Utd, Club Brugge is a regular in the Europa League. The last 10 seasons, including this season, five times they have participated in this tournament’s group stage, twice fell to the round of 16 after finishing third in the Champions League group stage. Man Utd season 2015-2016 defeated Brugge in the Champions League play-off round, causing the Belgian team to play in the Europa League.

Basic things you should know about boxing (Part 3)

To make the battles as fair as possible, the boxers are divided into weight classes. Therefore, each fighter only competes with another martial artist of similar weight, making the match become much fairer and more balanced.

How to win in a boxing match?

The goal of boxing is to hit the opponent directly, and finally, the judges will discuss until it is possible to agree on which athlete scores more points with the shots.

There are many other ways to win besides knocking out.

When the opponent collapses to the ring or lies on the line, if the referee counts to 10 and the opponent still cannot stand up.

The arbitrator may also perform knockout by technical factors. When a boxer continues to blow and the referee thinks that the other boxer can’t take it anymore.

Based on the final score and the decision of the judges. The person who scores the higher score will win.

In the end, the assistants can throw the scarf on the floor to accept defeat, when they realize that the athlete no longer has a chance to win.

Boxing is not just a sport of resistance

Boxing has produced some of the most famous (and controversial) athletes of all time. Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson and George Foreman are the names associated with this sport. Especially “Thrilla in Manilla” – a match between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier in 1975, is considered one of the biggest sporting events in history.

This sport appears in many countries around the world and in the US. Some boxing matches can attract millions of followers.

Boxing has also become a popular fitness trend for people who are trying to lose weight or get in better shape. If you don’t believe boxing is a great workout, try to do it three minutes in a row every day and you’ll know the unexpected effects this sport has on you.

The boxing exercises that professional boxers often practice such as sandbag punching, jumping rope, push up, etc. These exercises are single but have special impact on large muscle groups and the heart system pulse, increases breathing rate and consumes a lot of calories to help reduce excess fat, firmer and more supple muscles.

It can be said that Boxing is not only admired because it is a sport but also an expression of human will and strength. Moreover, even if we don’t like it, we cannot deny the health benefits that boxing exercises provide.

Fierce race to the top scorer of the Premier League

Vardy has scored 17 goals, marginally better than Sergio Aguero. Four players have scored 14 goals so far including Marcus Rashford, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Danny Ings and Mohamed Salah. Last year, Salah, Mane and Aubameyang shared the top scorer title when all three strikers ended the Premier League season with 22 goals.

Vardy has never won the Premier League top scorer. Even in the 2015-2016 season, when Leicester City won the championship, the 33-year-old striker only came second after Harry Kane. Earlier this season, Vardy was in excellent form. At one point, he scored eight matches in a row. But after that series, the Leicester striker only scored one more goal due to injury and loss of form.

Aguero is one of the best strikers in Premier League history. But he only won the Golden Boot once in the 2014-2015 season. Aguero is in better shape than Vardy, so the City striker is likely to rise to lead the race. Among the six competitive strikers, Aguero reached the best performance, averaging 63 minutes a goal. Aguero and Vardy are also two players in the group who have scored hat-tricks this season.

Salah is looking forward to the third consecutive year of the Golden Shoe. The dominance of Liverpool gives the Egyptian striker many opportunities to improve scoring goals. At Arsenal, Aubameyang is the top scorer. Although “Gunners” are only 10th, the Gabon striker hopes to repeat individual achievements as last year.

Rashford shows maturity when carrying Man Utd attack this season. The 22-year-old striker constantly scored important goals for the Old Trafford team. But his back injury makes him more likely to sit out until the end of the season, thereby improving the chances of improving. English football fans hope the Man Utd striker will recover in time to attend Euro 2020.

Danny Ings is a surprising name. Although Southampton struggled with relegation for a long time, Ings proved his ability after a period of injury and faintness at Liverpool. The 27-year-old striker excelled in November and December, scoring five consecutive games. But right now, Ings was going through three games.

Another notable striker is Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham – who has scored 13 goals. An impressive thing about Abraham is that he scored three hat-tricks and scored twice in the first season to be awarded the starting kick. The 22-year-old striker is suffering from an ankle injury but when he recovers, Abraham will be a formidable opponent for his seniors.

Basic things you should know about boxing (Part 2)

In a battle, there were always three judges, who were responsible for watching the match and evaluating each individual boxer’s shots and therefore deciding who would win, if no boxer was knock out or accept defeat.

A team of doctors must always be present to assess the condition of the boxers in battle, determining whether he can continue to play or not.

The manager

This character is “responsible” for the timing of the rounds and hitting the gong to signal the end of each round.

Technical director

The technical director is responsible for the decisions of the judges, reviewing and publishing the results. He is also responsible for other decisions in the match.

He is responsible for making announcements about the results of battles, commenting on and introducing martial artists, organizers, referees, judges, etc.

Each boxer has the right to have four assistants who are behind the boxers and are responsible for advising, caring for the boxer and throwing towels into the ring when they think that boxer can no longer continue to fight.

Sparing is a way to call those responsible for training and perfecting techniques for fighters. They are usually amateur or beginner boxers. But it’s also possible that other great martial artists and champions want to train their next generation to succeed.

Some rules of professional boxing matches are as follows.

– A stroke is only considered to be scored if the fighter hits from the front or next to the head or into the opponent’s abdomen.

– It is against the law to smash the back of the head, grasp or strike under the belt. When a boxer makes a mistake, the referee will issue a warning to that boxer. If this is repeated again, the boxer may be disqualified.

– The boxer cannot attack his opponent while the athlete falls and lies on the floor.

– Bite is also an error to warn and cause that fighter to be eliminated.

The oldest golf course in the UK banned the use of plastic tee since 2020

Recently, the golf course has the oldest history of the UK and in the “Top 100 most worth golf courses in the world” Royal North Devon Golf Club has made a decision on banning the use of tee plastic throughout the club, a decision that will officially take effect on January 1, 2020.

According to The Telegraph, Royal North Devon is the first golf course to ban the use of plastic tee. This decision was made in an effort to prevent local wildlife from eating the tee and being harmed by the same tee.

Along with environmental considerations, yard leaders have found the plastic tee to end their destination on the beach and that’s the reason for the ban.

From the beginning of the new decade, they want all members to use only wooden tee and pro-shop only provide wooden tee. If the player sees a discarded plastic tee, please place it in the bin located at the teeing ground. The club will have more similar tee boxes at other tee boxes on the field.

Although it is unclear whether any golf course in the US or Canada enforces a similar ban, many have begun the journey to restrict the use of plastic straws in restaurants. However, replacing plastic tee will be more difficult because they have been popular and handy for decades.

For the first time, a tournament organizers launched the Say No to disposable plastic program. Accordingly, during the four days of the tournament, the organizer did not use plastic water bottles and disposable plastic items. Each athlete, the organizer member is provided with a bottle to keep the name engraved from the sponsor. On Laguna Lang Co yard, water spots and cup made from environmentally friendly materials have been set up for the audience.

As a common ground, Royal North Devon is always open to the public and local people to visit. Along the golf holes and the beach is a path where people can walk, take dogs for a walk and enjoy the outdoors. There are signs throughout the golf course to remind golfers that pedestrians have priority.

Basic things you should know about boxing (Part 1)

Boxing is a famous sport all over the world that has become a new trend for young people, especially those who love sports and martial arts. Or simply treat it as an exercise for those who want to lose weight or get in shape. This article will read you more about this boxing sport.

Modern boxing can be understood simply as a martial art of bare hands fighting between two athletes, using a punch to attack combined with foot and head movement to evade the opponent’s attacks.

Boxing matches take place in a square of 18 to 22 feet (5.5 to 6.7 meters in length) and surrounded by four ropes. A Boxing match can last from 4 to 12 rounds, each round having three minutes.

The time shortened to two minutes per round is usually applied in women’s competitions and in some competitions held in the UK. By the late 1980s, World Championships such as the WBC, WBA and IBF officially defined a 12-round professional boxing match.

Over the years, many boxing variants have emerged, the most famous being Muay Thai and Boxing, which allow boxers to use both their legs and many other parts to strike.

Boxing has been a sport for thousands of years, becoming an official Olympic event in 688 BC. There is even evidence that boxing existed in ancient Egypt. The early boxing was simply barehanded and there were no rules making it a very cruel and violent sport.

Many years later, this sport began to be prescribed, especially in 1867 the Queen personally developed and approved the Official Rules for this sport.

Many people simply think that a boxing match is composed of boxers and referees or more than judges. But actually, in addition to the athletes participating in the competition, there are still many people and each of them has their functions as follows.

Referees have a very important role in every match. Referees are responsible for helping and forcing boxers to follow the rules, keeping them in a framework while controlling athletes’ behavior and intervening when the situation calls for it.

Liverpool overwhelmed the typical UEFA team

The defending champion of the Champions League accounts for half of the typical team voted by fans on the UEFA website.

The first member from Liverpool is goalkeeper Alisson. The defending Champions League also plays a backbone in the defense, contributing three players including Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson and Virgil Van Dijk. The remaining position of the defender belongs to Matthijs De Ligt, the former Ajax defender who now plays for Juventus.

Liverpool have a bunch of players that can form an unbeatable team

The last member from Liverpool is Sadio Mane. According to the arrangement of the fans, Mane played as a winger. This arrangement is somewhat different from reality, where he plays as a winger for Liverpool and Senegal.

The fans also ranked Messi (Barca) in the winger position. The two central midfield positions belong to Frenkie De Jong (Barca) and Kevin De Bruyne (Man City).

In the strikers, fans choose Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus) and Robert Lewandowski (Bayern). In particular, Lewandowski is impressed with 40 goals in 47 matches in 2018-2019 season and 30 goals in 25 matches in the first half of 2019-2020 season.

With five members, Liverpool is the team that makes the biggest contribution to the representative team. Barca and Juventus came in second with the same two members, while Man City and Bayern had one player.

The fact that Liverpool almost occupied the defensive system of the typical team also shows the solid foundation of the victory. Without the best defense system today, it is difficult for attackers like Mane, Mohamed Salah, or Roberto Firmino to go far.

Building a victory from the defense also shows how correct coach Jurgen Klopp spent large sums on buying Alisson and Van Dijk. In addition, he also has the talent to turn poor starting players like Alexander-Arnold, or Andy Robertson into big stars.

Interesting history and the development of tennis (Part 2)

Tennis is really different from the game that is played today. It used to be an indoor game, played in large galleries. Players earn points the way they play the ball out of the room walls.

Another way in which polishing is different from today’s games is a system of chases used. In the game played today, the ball is considered dead if it is bounced twice.

However, in old Tennis, the point where the ball would bounce a second time would be marked by a marker, called the hunt. So in addition to playing for points, the players will compete by trying to chase their ball as close to the opponent’s wall as possible. Therefore, a player who scores fewer points can actually win the match by using more skill chase.

After gaining popularity with the French nobility, tennis began to spread throughout Europe, especially popular in Britain. Here too, the game was quickly adopted by royalty, thus known as the sport of kings. Henry VIII, a game enthusiast, had a tennis court built at Hampton Court, his palace, still being used by Tennis fans.

However, tennis is not restricted to England and France, as it soon spread to Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Italy and Spain. However, with the Napoleonic wars and the French revolutions, the game was almost eliminated across Europe in the 18th century.

The appearance of grass in tennis

In the 19th century, with the thriving development of Victoria from England, the game was revived again. A number of notable states have soccer fields built in their facilities along with the first appearance of the tennis club providing facilities for their members to be made.

Game enthusiasts, in fact, have been trying to modify the game into an outdoor sport for a long time, eventually facilitating the advent of vulcanized rubber. This makes it possible to create balls that are soft enough not to damage the grass, but retain the vibrancy and elasticity of the rubber.

Another factor contributing to the revival of the game is the simplicity and ease of the outdoor version. A flat grass surface is all that is required, and soon it becomes a popular feature for grass tennis courts.

While Tennis was actually a sport of royalty and aristocracy, in Victorian England, it was the upper classes that accepted it as a form of playing tennis on the grass.

They were Christian monks, influenced by the Moor’s religious customs, who would be the first Europeans to play the rough form of tennis.

In the first version of this game, called “La Soule”, the players hit the ball with each other, either with their bare hands or using sticks. The game became so popular in monasteries all over Europe that the Church even planned to ban the game.

History of tennis

This was the first form of the game, in which the ball was often hit on the walls of a yard. Tennis was soon began to be played outside the monasteries, with it further developed in the 12th and 13th centuries soon discovered that they could control the ball better with just their hands, which soon led to the creation of a leather glove.

It is not long before gloves begin to be attached to a wooden handle, thus creating the first tennis racket. The balls undergo a number of refinements, changing from solid wood to bran that is stuffed into the skin. The game quickly became very popular, especially in France, where it was taken up by royalty.

The development of tennis

The tennis that we play every day now, really has grown up in France. Originally named “Jeu de paumme”, or “game of the palm”, it became a high fashion sport played by kings and aristocracy, in the 16th century.

In those days, the French players would call out ‘Tenez’, or ‘Play’, at the beginning of the game, and it soon became known as the Royal sport.
