Premier League has been postponed until April 4

The organizer of the Premier League to stop the tournament until April 4 due to the influence of Covid-19.

The Premier League ended the 29th round last weekend, while the FA Cup identified eight teams in the quarterfinals. The emergency meeting of the Premier League shareholder took place at 17:30 this afternoon, in Hanoi time, after Arsenal coach, Mikel Arteta and Chelsea player, Callum Hudson-Odoi were positive for nCoV.

All Arsenal and Chelsea members are in quarantine, while West Ham and Everton – teams against Arsenal and Chelsea last week – have also been put on special watch. Defender Benjamin Mendy has symptoms similar to the corona virus, while three Leicester players are awaiting test results.

Before the meeting, many clubs also filed a request to the organizers to postpone the Premier League for the safety of the players and to ensure fairness for the tournament.

Also on 13/3, the European Football Federation decided to postpone the Champions League and Europa League matches next week. The top European leagues such as Serie A, La Liga have all been postponed. The Bundesliga runs until the end of this week, before being postponed from March 17.

Arsenal coach is infected with nCoV

Mikel Arteta was positive for nCoV, and could have spread to the first team members as well as the Arsenal coaching staff.

It is not clear from where Arteta became infected. He was determined to be out of contact with Evangelos Marinakis – the owner of Olympiacos, who met with a number of Arsenal leaders and players when the two clubs faced in the Europa League in February.

Shortly after the return leg at the Emirates, Marinakis announced he was positive for nCoV. Because of this, the match between Arsenal and Man City in the middle of the week has also been postponed.

Arsenal are scheduled to face Brighton this Saturday in the Premier League – the tournament claims to be normal. However, with the latest developments on the Arsenal epidemic, the match will certainly be postponed.

Friday morning (local time), the Organizing Committee of the Premier League will meet urgently to adjust the schedule.

While many England’s football teams gain success, English national football team is still faded (Part 3)

Ruben-Loftus Cheek is having an impressive season and gradually asserts his place in the first team of Chelsea with impressive performances. In the second leg against Frankfurt, it was the midfielder who scored the opener for Maurizio Sarri’s army.

However, with the Italian coach wanting to keep Mateo Kovacic behind, perhaps he still not fully confident in the English player. And Cheek will have to try harder to gain the confidence of the team coach.

Besides Cheek, Chelsea has another English player, Ross Barkley. However, the hope of a time of English football is no longer his own, and it is difficult for him to compete in the official capacity of the Blues.

Loftus Cheek still struggles a lot if he wants to make sure of the Chelsea squad.

The most tragic of these is probably the case of Arsenal when in the semi-final second leg, coach Unai Emery used 13/14 foreign players. The only indigenous name in the squad was Ainsley-Maitland Niles.

Despite the main kick, it is clear that the 22-year-old is only a substitute for Emery’s situation in the context of long-term injury Hector Bellerin. When the Spanish defender returns and regains the best of the ball, it will be difficult for Niles to get into the “Gunners” main squad. And then, Arsenal will become the team “of the British but not of the British”.

Amidst the glorification, the victory in drunken men is still anxious. English teams can be successful, but their players are still facing numerous difficulties. To bring their team to the top, to bring real football home, there will be a long way to go with countless things to do for the British ahead.
